Why are my emotions so crazy?

Hello my fellow human beings,
I hope you are all enjoying your day/evening!

As you can see from the title of this post I will be discussing about emotions! Lately I feel like my emotions have taken me on one crazy rollercoaster, but I must say I have learnt a few things whilst been taken for a ride. So imma cut to the chase…

1. Try not to let your emotions govern your day. Don’t let that terrible morning feeling that you ‘may’ experience, set the tone for the rest of your day. You know how we humans can be, one minute we are filled with rage/anger, and the next we’ve fallen head over heels in love with someone (extreme I know but it does happen). And vice versa, we can wake up happy but when we step out of our homes, and step into the realm of public transport we can completely lose it! Even when things don’t ‘feel’ like they are going right, and the day ahead seems very bleak, speak out words of truth, declare Gods word over your life and stay positive!

2. Ladies ladies ladies, I know this statement may offend some of you, but I got to put it out there (I’m talking to myself too), stop blaming your bad attitude or outbursts of anger on hormones😯😯😯! Yup I said it! Over the past few months I would justify my improper conduct on the fact that my period was a week/couple of days away! Personally I feel that such a mindset is unacceptable, I shouldn’t use it as an excuse to be snappy with people, because at the end of the day they are not responsible for the shedding of my uterine wall! If someone physically assaulted someone just because they were having a bad day, nobody would throw them a pity party, because such behaviour is not right. What we must realise is that though we may not physically assault a person, verbal assault (the words we use), can be just as damaging as a punch in the face.

3. Appreciate what you have! Appreciate the wonderful people God has placed in your life! It is very easy to get frustrated by people who are constantly around you, in life we will step on each others toes. But my observation is that we should be grateful that we have individuals around us! We should be thankful that we have family (that’s if you do have family), because having family is truly a blessing! So let us stop focusing on the people, or friends that have disappointed us, let us enjoy the relationships we do have, with the people God has placed in our lives! If this means spending more quality time with younger siblings DO IT, if it means having a one to one with your mum DO IT, if it means participating in an activity with your dad DO IT, if it means having to travel a little further, or spend a bit more cash to meet with the special people in your life DO IT! As the time you lose, you can never get back!

Ephesians 4:26 ‘and do not let the sun go down on your anger’.
Colossians 3:13 ‘Make allowance for each other’s faults, & forgive anyone who offends you’.

Peace out y’all have a BEAUTIFUL day (yes I am happy 😊, is it that obvious 🙈)

…..

Love y’all

Simply a young woman striving to encourage women of God, whilst trying to spread the gospel to a mass majority of ladies all over the world. I am an armature with regards to blogs, but with more time and by God’s grace I shall improve lol. I want every single female on earth to know how much she is loved by God (John 3:16)! Please feel free to contact me via email for encouragement, advise or prayer (I am not a qualified counsellor, or a pastor, but I believe as a young woman I will be able to relate with SOME of the things other women around the world are going through). <<< As of Feb 2019 I completed my Counselling level 3 diploma Praise God 💃🏾. I intend to help others not in my own strength, but with the help of the Holy Spirit.
