Hey I’m known as Christian Lady After God’s Own Heart and I thought I’d share my journey as a single christian woman via electronic pen and paper (WordPress). This is because I have not come across many blogging platforms which encourage unmarried women of faith. I’ve sought for such encouragement for many years and in the midst of my search I felt the Holy Spirit say ‘YOU be that encouragement, let ME use YOU’. I strongly believe that there is a specific gap in the world created for me to tell my story!

Explore my trials and triumphs in real time, as I pursue to seek God first, as a single christian woman in an ungodly hyper-sexualised world. You’ll also get the opportunity to learn from my personal experiences, during moments where I choose to uncover some of my past. The sole purpose of ‘The chronicles of a christian single lady’, is to encourage believers on their journey of faith with Christ, specifically christian single women.

1. I’m a daughter of the King.

2. I LOVE GOD.

3. Reading the bible nourishes my soul. It produces within me sound mind (keeps me sane). I simply adore the bible.

4. I like to write, bake, and create, plus travel.

5. Family time is extremely sacred to me.

6. I serve in the healthcare sector.

7. I’ve never had a boyfriend or been in a serious relationship. (I had what I thought was a boyfriend when I was like in year 2, but that doesn’t really count).

8. I’ve never been on a official date (I went on ‘links’ accompanied by an older friend).

9. I live in England.

10. I’m 27 years young and a virgin.

I aim to create blog posts on my single journey, at least once every 2 weeks minimum. I can’t guarantee it’ll be the same day each fortnight, as you know life happens, but it’s my desire to commit to frequently encouraging my single siblings in Christ, even if it means writing a few Holy Spirit inspired sentences.

Finally I urge all my fellow unmarried Queens to start living, and stop waiting around doing nothing. Don’t allow precious opportunities to pass you by. Enjoy life now, live well now, and believe me God will provide you with many more opportunities to enjoy life WITH your spouse, if it’s in line with His will for your life.

Ecclesiastes 3:11 ~ Yet God has made everything beautiful for its own time. He has planted eternity in the human heart, but even so, people cannot see the whole scope of God’s work from beginning to end.

Everyone’s timing in life is different, our seasons are different so stop comparing yourself with others. Keep shining for Christ, and invest your time, energy, and effort into deepening your relationship with Him.
