No man is an Island

Hey lovely people

It’s that time of the year where everyone is busy, busy shopping, putting up decorations and preparing for the Christmas holidays. It’s very easy to get caught up in the seasonal rush. Many a times we humans can focus so much upon what we want, and what we need to get, rather than thinking of who we can help and how we can do so.

I personally believe that Jesus is the reason for the season Christmas. And just as God the Father gave His one and only Son as a gift to mankind, we too as humans should think of how we can give to others instead of living selfish lifestyles. I do believe it’s possible not to be aware of our own selfish habits, but we can nip this in the bud by consciously making the effort to go out of our way to do ONE kind act every single day!

John 3:16: For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

1 John 3:16:  By this we know love, because He laid down His life for us. And we also ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.

At times you may ask yourself ‘what exactly can I give, especially when I have limited funds’? But I can assure you there are sooo many PRICELESS gifts which you can give for FREE, such as

    Your time.
    Your smile.
    Your love.
    Volunteering at a local charity.
    Encouraging someone with your words.
Visiting someone who needs human company etc.

We NEED to cultivate the habit of helping one another. No man is an Island, we MUST continue to support one another to the best of our ability. I mean if angels occasionally needed support and help from other angels (Daniel 10:13 & 21) how much more us humans!

The point I desire to put across is that this Christmas we should strive to give to others the gift of kindness. You don’t have to go overboard or overcomplicate things, sometimes a simple smile is enough. Do your part in helping combat loneliness.

Finally I’d like to leave you with some food for thought!

Love is a gift which cannot be worn out, a gift which cannot be destroyed by fire or natural disaster. It can still be felt and experienced by the receiver even when their strength is failing them. Why? Because they know within their heart love will always prevail, love never fails and love never dies!

Simply a young woman striving to encourage women of God, whilst trying to spread the gospel to a mass majority of ladies all over the world. I am an armature with regards to blogs, but with more time and by God’s grace I shall improve lol. I want every single female on earth to know how much she is loved by God (John 3:16)! Please feel free to contact me via email for encouragement, advise or prayer (I am not a qualified counsellor, or a pastor, but I believe as a young woman I will be able to relate with SOME of the things other women around the world are going through). <<< As of Feb 2019 I completed my Counselling level 3 diploma Praise God 💃🏾. I intend to help others not in my own strength, but with the help of the Holy Spirit.
