Apparently when you hit 30 your ovum vanish into thin air…Such a viewpoint is simply absurd, like seriously đ, itâs not scientifically correct.

Good day ladies and gents,
I hope that this post meets you well, and I pray that Christâs love, peace, and joy rests upon your hearts and homes during this festive season. I know that some of you may be thinking, what on earth is todayâs post about? Is this lady really going to be talking about human eggs? Well the answer is yes, I will be touching on fertility today (very briefly), and some other life matters đ. But the most important note I desire for you to go away with today, is to know that having a relationship with Christ is the greatest miracle one can obtain.
Firstly Iâd like to express that I believe that itâs important for people to know the whole truth! BALANCE IS KEY! Observing the full picture, and seeing both sides of a coin can help aid a person in making good decisions, (informed healthy choices) throughout life. Today I desire to try my upmost best, to give balanced, accurate, and helpful information, in order to encourage single women. Especially females who are 30 plus.
I donât know about anyone else, but it really bugs me that people seem to believe that, women become infertile by the time they hit 30. Yes itâs true that during a womanâs early years, she has a lot of fresh healthy eggs, sitting around just waiting to be fertilised, but this doesnât mean that once a woman hits 30 all her eggs are no longer viable.
Reality is that there are women across all ages, early twenties to mid fifties, who struggle with fertility. Infertility can affect young women as well as older women.
Does having babies older increase the likelihood of one conceiving a child with certain disabilities? Yes, but that doesnât mean that it will ALWAYS be the case. Everybodyâs pregnancy/fertility journey is different.
Iâve heard many people express that women âexpireâ after 30, and in my head I think wow, really! During a recent group conversation, an individual stated that a womenâs likelihood of developing cancer, increases if she hasnât had a child by the age of 30. This concerned/worried me for a short while, and lead me to take action by changing the way I think. I changed my thought process simply by looking to Godâs word, and remembering His promises concerning my life. I had to actively stop meditating on negative comments, and decided to listen to Godâs word instead.
Another piece of info Iâd love for you to be aware of, is that the older a woman gets (the closer she is to reaching menopause), the more likely she is to have twins. So itâs not all doom and gloom the older you get.
Life is unpredictable, nobody knows tomorrow, and tomorrow is not guaranteed to anyone. A woman could become pregnant at 40 for the first time, and have a smooth journey, whilst a 23 year old could end up in ITU (intensive therapy unit), due to pregnancy complications. Itâs very important not to compare yourself, or your journey with others, God created you uniquely, therefore seek Him for wisdom on how to make the best choices for your life. He will guide you towards His light, love, joy, and peace. He will help you get through the storm!
Psalm 142:1-7 ~ âI cry out to the Lord; I plead for the Lordâs mercy. I pour out my complaints before him and tell him all my troubles. When I am overwhelmed, you alone know the way I should turn. Wherever I go, my enemies have set traps for me. I look for someone to come and help me, but no one gives me a passing thought! No one will help me; no one cares a bit what happens to me. Then I pray to you, O Lord. I say, âYou are my place of refuge. You are all I really want in life. Hear my cry, for I am very low. Rescue me from my persecutors, for they are too strong for me. Bring me out of prison so I can thank you. The godly will crowd around me, for you are good to me.â
^^^ I just love this verse itâs a reminder to us that God knows the exact path that we should take in life. Only He knows where we should turn to. Donât forget that we all have different timings and paths in life.
Trust Godâs will for your life, and believe that He makes all things work together for the good of those who love Him, and are called according to His purpose. Not all people are able to have children, and infertility doesnât make a person less human. God is faithful and He performs great miracles. And we ALL have access to the greatest gift of all, produced from the greatest miracle of all. Which is the gift of salvation brought about through Christâs death and resurrection! What a great miracle… A virgin conceiving. The virginâs womb carried baby Jesus, the One who saves the world from the power of sin!
Isaiah 7:14 ~ All right then, the Lord himself will give you the sign. Look! The virgin will conceive a child! She will give birth to a son and will call him Immanuel (which means âGod is with usâ).
God still works miracles, and is more than able to open the womb of a barren woman, irrespective of her age. Sarah conceived a healthy son in her OLD age, people she was in her 90s! Letâs just pause and let that sink in…God is able to do what no man can do! So donât feel discouraged or live in fear about having a baby later on in life.
Genesis 17:15-17 ~ âThen God said to Abraham, âRegarding Sarai, your wife her name will no longer be Sarai. From now on her name will be Sarah. And I will bless her and give you a son from her! Yes, I will bless her richly, and she will become the mother of many nations. Kings of nations will be among her descendants.â Then Abraham bowed down to the ground, but he laughed to himself in disbelief. âHow could I become a father at the age of 100?â he thought. âAnd how can Sarah have a baby when she is ninety years old?â
Genesis 21:2 ~ She became pregnant, and she gave birth to a son for Abraham in his old age. This happened at just the time God had said it would.
And remember God loves you, so much so that He sent His one and only Son, to save you from eternal death. We get to enjoy unbroken fellowship with the The Lord because of His great act of humility, He took on human flesh for our sakes. He experienced what itâs like to be human, and He died a gruesome death so that we may live forever. Thank God for the birth of Christ, Godâs precious gift to the world!
John 3:16 ~ âFor this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.â

Have a great time celebrating the birth of Christ, trust God more, and stress less. Choose to enjoy Godâs gift to you. Enjoy His presence, enjoy intimacy with Him, He is not a distant God, He is Emmanuel God with us. The only way one can TRULY enjoy this current season, is by embracing Christ the King.
