Remembering The Forgotten.

imagesJBJYRGEJHey mighty women of valour

It’s a very special day today, a day in which people all over the globe remember the fallen dead. The people who have laid down their lives for the freedom of others.

I can sincerely say that from the bottom of my heart I desire for a time to come, where people don’t have to kill one another, in order to make peace. I desire for a time where there is no war, and no innocent civilians being caught in the midst of bombs, and crossfires. I would also love for nation not to go to war against nation. If I could rule the earth there would be no such thing as war, no such thing as one man taken another man’s life. But the unfortunate thing is, there are many evil people out there, in every race, continent, country and tribe. People who think it’s perfectly fine to take another human beings life, just because they feel they have the right to.

But I’d just like to say thank you to those who fought against individuals with such evil, and wicked ideologies. I’d also like to thank those who did not die in the line of duty, and are still here with us today. I know living with the memories of war, and the damages it causes, must be so difficult to deal with. Just seeing images of war on the news, is enough to leave me feeling emotional. But many of you don’t have the option to switch channels or delete images, as the mind is the most powerful storage system. Even if you try to erase one moment in time, your brain cells always have a way of backing up that particular memory file. I know that videos may be constantly replayed in your mind, and my simple thank you may not be enough to prevent these horrific memories from resurfacing. But I hope my thank you, and the thank you of many others, bring those memories to a complete halt, even if it is for a few seconds. And within that halted, still, short or long moment I hope you find joy.

I also choose to remember people who have been killed for standing up to injustice, and those killed for speaking out against corrupt leaders. I say thank you for fighting for the truth. Even though you knew it would cost you the highest price, you still chose to fight till the end. And thank you to the martyrs who chose to defend their faith, you chose not to deny the truth to please other men. You truly stood to the end. Your deaths are not in vain, those of you who fought for the justice, faith and welling being of others. There is now an uprising, humanity is now slowly gathering and standing together. Social media has somewhat helped in our uniting, it has exposed to us the numbers of people who have died tackling unfairness. We as humanity must aspire to join, and stand together for the sake of peace, for when divided we will fall. We cannot stay silent and allow people to keep dying in vain, and I do not mean to say we should fight using violence. NO I am against such acts, but rather we battle by using our voice. Words are powerful and can change destinies (Proverbs 18:21).

And Oh how many of us Christians myself included, forget to thank the greatest man of ALL TIME. His name is JESUS, Counsellor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of peace. The ultimate hero who died once and for ALL (1 Peter 3:18 NLT). He died for humans past, present AND future. Lord Jesus I chose to acknowledge what you done on the cross, and I say thank you. Thank you for without your death, I would not be able to experience TRUE FREEDOM. Salvation. Life after death with the Father. The human vocabulary is so limited, it cannot be used to express your awesomeness in its entirety, but my prayer for now is that this post brings you honour. Jesus I salute you and I also thank you.

Simply a young woman striving to encourage women of God, whilst trying to spread the gospel to a mass majority of ladies all over the world. I am an armature with regards to blogs, but with more time and by God’s grace I shall improve lol. I want every single female on earth to know how much she is loved by God (John 3:16)! Please feel free to contact me via email for encouragement, advise or prayer (I am not a qualified counsellor, or a pastor, but I believe as a young woman I will be able to relate with SOME of the things other women around the world are going through). <<< As of Feb 2019 I completed my Counselling level 3 diploma Praise God 💃🏾. I intend to help others not in my own strength, but with the help of the Holy Spirit.
