Happy Christmas to my lovely readers/followers. I do hope that you’re having a joyous day celebrating the birth of our Lord, and enjoying the peace and rest which He gives. And if you’re working I pray for the strength to endure and the grace to show all the humans you encounter kindness!
Well today I want to remind you Christians out there that you already have the greatest gift of all. And to the Non-Christians reading you ALSO have accessibility to this gift too, this gift is for ALL who desire to obtain it! And that gift is JESUS CHRIST, the Saviour of the world. Gods greatest present to mankind! And with accepting Him you also receive joy, love, peace of mind, adoption into His family, the promise of the Holy Spirit AND…. eternal life!
John 3:16~ For this is how God loved the world: He gave His one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.
This Christmas you NEED to know that once Christ saves you, you’re forever saved. You CANNOT lose your salvation, God won’t take back a given gift. I mean under most circumstances when an individual gives a gift to another human, even if you do happen to fall out most people won’t ask for their given gifts to be returned. Therefore picture God…the good Father who is holy, just, pure and perfect in ALL of His ways, do you think He’d ask for His gifts back? The answer is NO!
So accept Gods acceptance of you! Remember His acceptance of you is not based upon performance! God doesn’t accept you one day and reject you the next day based on ‘how good’ you are… ‘Oh you’ve committed multiple sins today so I’m going to cross you off the lambs book of life, but ah now you’ve been slightly better this evening so you’re back in my good books’! God simply doesn’t operate like that!!!
Today’s post has been written under the inspiration of the passage Ezekiel 46:17!
Ezekiel 46:17 ~ But if the prince gives a gift of land from his inheritance to one of his servants, the servant may keep it only until the Year of Jubilee, which comes every fiftieth year. At that time the land will return to the prince. But when the prince gives gifts to his sons, those gifts will be permanent.
Gods gift of salvation to YOU is PERMANENT, never forget that! Have a wonderful, peaceful, blessed and joyous Christmas.
