My reflection on covid-19.

Happy weekend WordPress family

I hope you’re all well, refreshed and blessed? I know that this pandemic has led many along the pathway of boredom, but alas dear friends you have the ability to turn your journey into a problem solving adventure!

This is my personal observation on the happenings taking place around my side of the world (Greater London/Essex), but I’m sure a lot of communities are facing the same predicaments, as feelings of joy, love, hurt and pain are universal to all human beings irrespective of a persons race, background, or upbringing.

Now I truly believe that we are not fighting against flesh and blood, as the Bible states in the book of Ephesians 6:12. The root cause of the troubles which we face on earth is SIN. Sinful nature is rampant everywhere, and this pandemic is bringing to surface existing problems! I’ve come up with a list of just a few issues I believe have been brought to light due to the current pandemic.

⁃ A high number of parents/careers are unable to provide enough meals for children in their care.

⁃ Health care services do not have enough staff and facilities to safely manage workflow on a daily basis.

⁃ The level of poverty is increasing.

Sadly many people in society have been forgotten and the Bible talks about the importance of looking after the vulnerable (poor, widows and orphans). Unfortunately this doesn’t seem to be happening enough, homelessness in London has increased and globally the gap between the rich and the poor is widening. I’d say greed and corruption are partly to blame. Injustice seems to be overlooked on a regular basis by some individuals in positions of power. Greed, corruption, and the promotion of injustice are all sins. Sin is our problem but thank God for the blood of Jesus which brings healing, forgiveness, and redemption.

Isaiah 1:17 ~ Learn to do good. Seek justice. Help the oppressed. Defend the cause of orphans. Fight for the rights of widows.

Psalm 82:3 ~ Give justice to the poor and the orphan; uphold the rights of the oppressed and the destitute.

I also believe that the spiritual world reflects the earthly realm. We are living in times of spiritual darkness and our earth (our Eden) is being greatly afflicted too. This pandemic is literally like a war, people are being called to service. The British government requested for 250,000 volunteers to help the NHS. We’re fighting a war with an enemy we cannot see with our naked eye

Anyways I’d like to give a massive shoutout to Cuba for sending doctors to help out in Italy. A beautiful tale of the economically poor helping the economically richer, a bit like the ‘Good Samaritan’! Will you be the Good Samaritan of our time? Also thanks to all those who stood outside their doors giving rounds of applause to NHS workers. Your love was much appreciated on Thursday night!

Psalm 103:4 ~ He redeems me from death and crowns me with love and tender mercies.

Simply a young woman striving to encourage women of God, whilst trying to spread the gospel to a mass majority of ladies all over the world. I am an armature with regards to blogs, but with more time and by God’s grace I shall improve lol. I want every single female on earth to know how much she is loved by God (John 3:16)! Please feel free to contact me via email for encouragement, advise or prayer (I am not a qualified counsellor, or a pastor, but I believe as a young woman I will be able to relate with SOME of the things other women around the world are going through). <<< As of Feb 2019 I completed my Counselling level 3 diploma Praise God 💃🏾. I intend to help others not in my own strength, but with the help of the Holy Spirit.
