A thank you and some words of advice.

Good day peeps

Today I am writing an appreciation message to all my followers. Thank you for showing your support by frequently viewing my content. Included in today’s post are two bloggers which I have nominated for the fix her crown award, as well as 3 tips which have helped me on my blogging journey. I thought it’d be an appropriate time to present the world with this writeup since I have finally reached my 100 followers milestone.

Soooo here it goes. The two lovely ladies I have chosen to nominate are ‘The excellent woman’ and Caralyn. ‘The excellent woman’ thank you so much for the nomination I feel extremely honoured, and I love your love God. Caralyn I have learnt a lot from you and have grown from reading your posts. Thank you both for what you do, and for your encouragement. I‘m glad to have participated in this online award event even though I have not followed all the award steps to a t.

Now for some tips

1. Share YOUR interest with the world: If you’re passionate about something you’re more likely to enjoy writing up on it and researching into it. So my advice will be for you to discuss, picture, and capture what you love. Ultimately be yourself and enjoy it!

2. Consistency is key: If you do not engage your readers frequently enough, it will become difficult to keep them captured. Select how often you want to post and stick to it. Once in a blue moon just won’t cut it. Personally I think leaving subscribers waiting for longer than 6 weeks to view content is a bit too long. But then again it all depends on your objectives and target audience. But don’t burn yourself out. What works for me is blogging on a weekly basis.

3. Engage with other bloggers: Read other people’s content and show support towards others in the game! We can learn from one another and encourage one another. Networking is KEY!

1 Thessalonians 5:15 ~ Therefore encourage one another and build one another up, just as you are doing.

I cannot express this enough but don’t do what you do for numbers. Do it because you’re led by the Spirit who has instilled such a passion within you. Even if you touch ONE life it’s enough to change the whole world. See it to be a bit like a domino effect as the encouraged individual has the potential to impact one life or many lives. Don’t forget you may have silent watchers who benefit from what you do. They absorb your content but may be uncomfortable with telling you you’re doing a great job, or may assume you do not need their support/encouragement because you’re getting it elsewhere.

Do not give up on your passion just because you fear what others will think you. Live to please God rather than man.

John 12:42-43 ~ Yet at the same time many even among the leaders believed in him. But because of the Pharisees they would not openly acknowledge their faith for fear they would be put out of the synagogue, for they loved human praise more than praise from God.
