Sometimes God answers our prayers in unexpected ways.

Good day beautiful people

I pray that this post meets you, and your family members well? It’s only been a week since my last post (nothing unusual about that), yet strangely I feel like I’ve been away for forever. Anyways today I want to emphasise the importance of reflection (keeping record of progression).

Without knowing, it’s extremely easy for us to downplay how far we’ve come in life (how far God has brought us). Which is why I want to motivate us to WRITE things down!

Habakkuk 2:2-3 ~ “Then the Lord said to me, “Write my answer plainly on tablets, so that a runner can carry the correct message to others. This vision is for a future time. It describes the end, and it will be fulfilled. If it seems slow in coming, wait patiently, for it will surely take place. It will not be delayed.”

For the longest time, it’s been my desire to take the gospel message to the furthest corners of the earth. And in my mind, I thought that this would involve travelling. But it wasn’t until I looked at my WordPress analytics, that I realised that God had ALREADY answered my prayers. Sometimes we may ‘feel’ that God hasn’t answered a prayer, because the answer came in a way we weren’t expecting! We have our own ways of doing things, but God’s ways are always far better and higher. It’s only until we dig deeper that we stumble across what God has been doing behind the scenes. We couldn’t notice what was taking place, because it wasn’t exactly what we were looking for. Seeing a wide variety of flags from around the world on my statistics page, brings my heart great joy, especially when a new flag pops up on my radar! Isn’t it so amazing that the cross of Christ bridges the biggest gaps, the power of the gospel message brings different cultures together.

The Lord even told Moses to keep account of the Israelites victories.

Numbers 33:2 ~ “At the Lord’s direction, Moses kept a written record of their progress. These are the stages of their march, identified by the different places where they stopped along the way.”

^^^It’s a good idea to keep record of your progress, in order to remind yourself of how far God has brought you.

Prayer journaling can help us recall the good things which God has done for us. It helps us develop a heart of gratitude. You don’t have to buy a a journal that is super expensive to be able to record your life encounters. All you need is a piece of paper and a pen! You could even create your own notebook, or record on your phone! The options are endless, but what is important, is starting the journey of noting your progress, including the ups and downs.

Stay safe, God bless, until next time

Simply a young woman striving to encourage women of God, whilst trying to spread the gospel to a mass majority of ladies all over the world. I am an armature with regards to blogs, but with more time and by God’s grace I shall improve lol. I want every single female on earth to know how much she is loved by God (John 3:16)! Please feel free to contact me via email for encouragement, advise or prayer (I am not a qualified counsellor, or a pastor, but I believe as a young woman I will be able to relate with SOME of the things other women around the world are going through). <<< As of Feb 2019 I completed my Counselling level 3 diploma Praise God 💃🏾. I intend to help others not in my own strength, but with the help of the Holy Spirit.

  1. Yes! I agree wholeheartedly! And when we have forgotten, it is so good to look back and read our writing, and realize how God worked in our lives, even when we didn’t realize it. Thank you for reaching the world with God’s word. Thank you for sharing this post. God’s rich blessings on your continued writing <3

  2. This is so true, we must remember not our will but His, so the way He answers is according to His plan and purpose even if we do or don’t like the answer / or lack in f answer in some cases. Thank you.
