Good day to all my beautiful readers, I do hope you’re all making the most of your life opportunities, and living to your FULL potential. Anyways I shall jump straight to the point…
Just because a particular routine has worked for you for so many years, doesn’t mean it will work for you your entire lifetime. Many of us human beings fear change but today I want to encourage you to embrace it! I say this because one simple change can help ease your life and reduce your stress levels. I shall now go onto share with you a couple of personal changes I’ve made which have helped me maximise my efficiency, whilst helping reduce exhaustion.
Something as simple as organising your lunch for work the night before can give you a few extra minutes in bed, and help you get into work earlier. This is a MAJOR PLUS I’d say.
For folks who do night shifts what I’ve noticed which helps immensely is doing all necessary house work the evening BEFORE, so that when it comes to the actual day of your night shift you can rest for a longer period of time. Seriously your body needs all the rest it can get, don’t over do it and exhaust yourself.
Also it’s a smart idea to plan what meal you’ll be indulging in for dinner, so that you are sure that you have all the ingredients needed for the meal. This saves A LOT of time, and prevents you having to run out to the shops half way through cooking, because you’ve just realised you don’t have the key ingredient for the meal. (If this does happen it can be extremely frustrating, especially if you’ve put a face mask on which hasn’t been left on for long enough). It also saves you a couple of minutes not having to scavenge through your deep freezer, because you would have got your ingredients ready the night before.
David was an experienced man of war yet he always asked God if he should go to war, and how he should go about doing so (1 Samuel 23:2 & 2 Samuel 5:19). We may be experienced in dealing with our day to day activities but there is always room for us to adhere to Gods advice, in order for us to be further productive with our time. This helps us enjoy Gods rest without feeling constantly burnt out. If you are struggling to find out how to better handle your time, ask the Holy Spirit for guidance and wisdom on how to do so (James 1:5).
I hope you enjoyed this short read people. I pray it benefits you in your day to day life happenings.
God bless
Love from the godly lady!
